New Web Site Launched to Reflect Diversity
AKRON, OH -- Christ United Methodist Church has launched a new web site aimed to reflect its vision to become multicultural.
The new web site, located at www.christakron.org, enables users to blend church activities into their daily schedules through convenient access to ministry opportunities, program calendars, and special events.
For those on the go, users can also now download audio files of our worship services for use on mp3 players and other digital devices.
One problem the church recognized while creating the web site was the tendency for church sites to become outdated making the church appear lifeless. To combat this concern, the new site provides even novice computer users the ability to add news and events to the calendar keeping the site fresh and up-to-date.
Now, more than ever, church seekers are using the internet to find a church home. The launch of the new web site comes with hopes it will encourage younger families to visit the church to experience the love, warmth, and diversity of the congregation.
